EU - Asean Relations : A Growing Partnership

---

Looking at the progressive changes of both regions— the EU is enlarging its membership eastwards, while ASEAN is entering into a new community and institutional building process— there exists a strong desire on the part of the EU to share its experience on forging regionalism and on the part of ASEAN to adopt the best practices of the EU and to modify them to fit the ASEAN context.
